La luce was founded by a mechanical engineer and a chemist.  Each jewel is completely handmade from grains of exclusively fair mined gold and silver. To her, this is the only way to truly bring her vision to life. Instead of searching for perfect, geometric, pristine beauty, these jewels are inspired by moulds, dying flowers, and mosses, uneven textures, and aged surfaces.  She uniquely combines a love for traditional techniques, impeccable taste, and a profound need to source its materials, energy and dispose of its waste truly responsibly.
