Enrico Girotti

I express myself through industrial design and the creation of unique objects that are interconnected in a continuous exchange.  My artistic focus is primarily on the ReMask Gold Art project. This project combines art, creativity, and sustainability. It involves a series of art objects created from surgical masks. Through a process akin to alchemy, I manually shape these masks, coat them with a new skin, and transform them into metal, specifically gold, using an electrochemical process. This transformative process gives the artworks a new archetypal value and alters the perception of surgical masks, turning them into precious and incorruptible objects.
