About Zelma Loseke
As a self-taught artist, Loseke has turned to her natural surroundings in Vermont for inspiration in the creation of her fluid, free-form, feminine sculpture for more than 20 years. Her fluid pieces have been described as womb-like, rhythmic, and voluptuous. She begins each sculpture without any preconceived ideas about the result. Each of her pieces reflects her strong maternal and nurturing gifts, her love for nature, and her talent for creating beauty within, and from, her immediate environment. They utilize all-USA sustainable materials.
