About Baiyang Qiu
My interest in jewelry making started at an early age. To pursue my jewelry dream, I moved to the United States to study and where I developed a dedicated bench practice that explored contemporary concepts supported by traditional jewelry techniques. Inspired by nature and its beautiful forms, I use the extremely fine thread of high karat gold and platinum to bring my designs to life. Whether it be a tiny raindrop gliding down a leaf or a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, the vine-like precious metal wirework captures those transitory moments and preserves them in timeless jewelry pieces.
