Sara Federici

I am a self-taught Italian ceramicist, specializing in artistic vases and lights. I have always had the calling of working with my hands, and for over a decade SF ceramica has been the natural evolution of that calling in my workshop in Florence, Italy. Subtle texture continues to be the most important part of my style, seen in my intricate etching, incising, and even carving of stoneware and porcelain. My hand-made slip and glaze colors produce natural hues, never superseding the texture of lines.
