In the beginning - a fleeting idea. The first image of an object born of imagination. Already thinking about the first choice of materials that will determine the aesthetics, proportions, and the one inner tension without which the new piece would just remain a soulless object. Poetically tender feelings when the hands begin to think their way into the material and form it into the first draft with increasing certainty. But then, when the idea has been implemented at the workbench, comes the moment of self-reflection. The creator changes into a distanced observer of his own work. Knowing full well that without his criticism of his own work there will be no further artistic development.
