Pierre Bowring

I learned to blow glass in school and was taught the Italian way.  I began my career focusing on form and creating objects that were very tight and striving for elegance. Simple and pure. I like that my work has a certain finesse to it. I know what the form is going to look like in the end but do not exactly know what the color is going to do. And I embrace that, I celebrate the handmade but still appreciate the craft.
