Morgan Sims

My neon work is motivated by form and color. I make both wall pieces and sculptural installations. I love the reflective quality of glass and the challenges it presents in hand forming pieces. By mixing up which gasses I use with different types of glass allows me to explore many different colors and brightnesses. I enjoy seeing how an idea comes to life in the medium. My work is mostly abstract, but I enjoy eluding to references when I title or install a piece.
