I am inspired by the clean lines and functional simplicity of the Scandinavian Modern movement and the focus on the tactile process of creation inherent in the Craft Studio movement. My work is a fusion of these two styles, reflecting my belief that good design should not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also utilitarian and accessible to all. I approach each piece as a sculptural form, carefully considering the natural beauty of the wood and how it can be highlighted through expert craftsmanship. My process begins with sourcing the finest materials, which I then subject to a series of precise cuts, joinery techniques, and finishes that bring out the unique character of each piece. I am deeply committed to sustainable practices and make it a priority to use only reclaimed and responsibly harvested wood in my work.
