Dwo Wen Chen

The primary concern of my pottery making is finding the perfect balance between esthetic and function. While I'm passionate in this particular artistic endeavor, I never lose sight that what I'm making is a functional object that enhances my collector's daily life. I work primarily in stoneware, with some explorations in earthenware and porcelain. All my work is handmade by me in my studio in Providence, RI with American ceramic materials.
